2023 ACADIANA PO-BOY FEST VENDOR REGISTRATION

Welcome to the Acadiana Po-Boy Festival. We are thrilled to have you as a vendor. Before submitting your registration, please  find important information regarding your booth. We ask that you follow these instructions precisely. 

 

$500 Booth Fee 

  • ONE Parking Pass (conveniently located in the first floor of the Downtown Parking Garage on Vermillion Street.)

 

BASIC EVENT INFO:

 

  • The Festival will be held on Saturday, April 1st from 11am-6pm at Parc Sans Souci, E. Vermilion St. Lafayette, LA 70501.

  • It’s a FREE event, however, visitors will be asked for donations at the Welcome Tents. Donations to benefit the Big Brother Big Sisters of Acadiana.  

  • Every visitor MUST register prior to enjoying any festival activity, including purchasing any items from your booth. Please help us by directing anyone to the welcome tents that is not wearing the official Festival wristband. This is to ensure we are able to maximize donations, gather a festival overall headcount, and assure that visitors get a chance to get educated on all the exciting things we will be offering.

  • Your booth Set up time is Saturday at 7am. (Please arrive on time! Vendors will not be allowed to set up after 9am)

  • Vendors must be ready to serve by 10:30am.  The festival begins at 11am.

  • Your booth is located on Polk Street. Your exact booth location TBA.  located 

  • Despite incorporating Best of the Fest Judges’ Choice and Peoples’ Choice Poboy, this is not a Po-Boy competition. It’s a celebration of the legacy of the Po-Boy!

  • Your booth is a cash/credit card only operation. You get to keep 100% of your sales. 

 

WHAT WE PROVIDE:

 

  • 10x10 Tent

  • 1 power circuit with 30amps (you must provide your own extension cords and adaptors) See map layout for details. There will be a festival electrician on site.

  • You will have access to water along Polk Street. (You must provide your own water hose) See event map layout for details

  • A banner menu sign above your tent. (Other banners will NOT be allowed to be displayed)

  • An 8-foot table to be used as your booth’s front counter.

WHAT YOU PROVIDE:

  • Pick you 2 po-boys of your choice. Please have each poboy sized 3 inches ONLY! Please keep your price at $3! We encourage smaller servings in order for visitors to enjoy as many vendors as possible.  Please do not sell half sized or full sized poboys.  No other menu items or sides are allowed to be sold in your booth.

  • No alcohol or non-alcoholic beverages will be allowed to be sold in your booth.

  • Provide your own staffing, equipment, and necessary supplies.  Gas burners are allowed.  However, we kindly ask you to prep as much as much as possible at your establishment.  We want food to go out as fast as possible so you make as much money as possible.

  • You must provide a fire extinguisher under your tent.  Gas burners & portable fryers are allowed. If you plan on using electrical equipment, you must keep your power needs under 30 amps.

  • A dumpster, grease container, and a walk-in cooler trailer is provided to all vendors on a first come first come basis.  All will be located on the first floor of the parking garage.

  • Please be sure to have enough change and operational supplies.  The festival will not accommodate those needs.

IMPORTANT INFO:

  • This event is a rain or shine. There will be no refunds.

  • As per event attendance of the last three years, we are expecting a minimum of 5,000 visitors.

  • We encourage vendors to prepare a minimum of 1000 ($3, 3 inches poboy bite) portions.  

  • No carts, trucks, trailers, or others tents will be allowed at your booth area. At the end of the event, you must dispose all trash in the festival dumpster. 

  • You are responsible to keep your booth area clean and maintained during the event. 

  • We understand every vendor wants to maximize your opportunity, however, we ask that you do not run out of food any time before 5pm.

  • Vendors are NOT allowed to tear down operations before 5pm.

  • There will be 2 official site visits where you will be able to check the site and ask any questions you may have. Date and time TBA.

  2. SE Team will email you with Registration Confirmation email upon approval.

  3. SE Team will send you an invoice to pay your  Registration Fee online.
