Banda Que Beleza

Banda Que Beleza was formed in Lafayette, Louisiana, by Brazilian expat friends craving to reconnect with Brazilian culture after decades living abroad.

 

Through this urge, Gustavo Rezende and Gustavo Rosenstengel reached out to a handful of musician friends, and found a group of talented individuals who were equally excited to add variety to the already thriving music scene in South Louisiana.

 

From the initial rehearsals, it was evident that something special was brewing: the connection was immediate, the enthusiasm was palpable and the vibes were just right!

 

Banda Que Beleza delivers high energy performances while taking on a musical journey through Samba, Bossa Nova, MPB, and beyond and visiting hits from masters like Tim Maia, Jorge Ben Jor, Erasmo Carlos, and more!
