The Apothecary Shoppe presents Plate Lunchapalooza, a free-to-attend food festival showcasing the best Plate Lunches from all around Acadiana to be hosted at West Village in Scott, LA on May 31, 2025!
20 local restaurants will be celebrating the iconic plate lunch and putting their tried and true recipes to the test against the competition for the title of Best of the Fest, powered by Tony’s Chachere’s!
A stellar line-up of Zydeco musicians will take the stage with performances by Geno Delafose & The French Rockin’ Boogie, Horace Trahan & The Ossun Express, Rusty Metoyer & The Zydeco Krush, and DJ RV!
A Pop-up Alley will host local shops selling their creations from arts and crafts to handmade and homemade items. Kids activities, including face painting, arts and crafts, will keep the little ones entertained as well!
A Cocktail Bar and Laffy Taps Beer Bus will be mixing drinks and pouring draft beers while The Apothecary Shoppe staff will be on site answering questions and helping guests get free medical cards.

FESTIVAL RULES:
$500 Registration fee
Each vendor to offer 1 plate lunch and 1 side only
Must sell small portion for $5
500 plates provided per vendor
Keep 100% of your sales
Tent, Serving Table, Menu signage provided
Prepare a minimum of 500 small portions
Approved vendors will receive an invoice for the Registration Fee. Your participation is only confirmed once payment is received. After payment is received, a SE team member will contact you via email with further instructions for the event.
Please note:
1. Limited access to power will be available on site. No loud generators please
2. No refunds. In case of cancellation due to inclement weather, acts of nature, or any other unforeseen circumstances, we will work to secure a make-up date for the event.
3. Vendors are required to be fully self-sufficient, meaning please bring your own set-up, including:

Cooking/serving equipment, utensils

Staff
-
Ability to accept Cash and Credit Card payments

Anything needed for your operations
4. Vendor Regulations and processes:

No Beverage sales allowed

Absolutely no Alcohol sales allowed

No loud generators allowed

Vendors will receive instructions from the SE Team for each event a minimum of 10 days prior to the event
